Boochie’s Kitchen is an elevated soul food catering business based in Cincinnati, Ohio, named after owner Erica Scott’s late grandmother Ms. Clara, known to everyone who loved her as Boochie. What started in 2018 as a way to show up for her daughter’s senior prom has grown into a certified catering business serving private events, corporate functions and special occasions throughout Cincinnati and surrounding communities.
As a State-Certified, MBE, WBE and EDGE certified business owner and MORTAR Entrepreneurship Academy graduate, Erica is committed to building something that honors her grandmother’s legacy while creating real economic opportunity. Her goal is to use Findlay Kitchen to grow my meal prep services, expand my corporate catering reach and eventually deliver meals to senior living facilities and adult day programs.
Every dish is made with fresh quality ingredients and intention because everybody deserves to feel like they’re sitting at Boochie’s table.
